After successfully operating Dickerson Gallery Sydney for eight years (formerly Queen Street Fine Art), the gallery director, Sam Dickerson, decided to try his luck in Melbourne. In conjunction with his half brother Stephen Nall - Dickerson gallery Melbourne has become a popular inner city gallery with a modern warehouse feel. Stephen Nall - a resident of Richmond - has developed a strong client following for many of his local and interstate artists since the gallery first opened in 2000. After searching for the perfect property, Dickerson Gallery Melbourne was opened in the inner eastern suburb of Richmond. Like the Sydney gallery, the newly established Dickerson Gallery Melbourne represents a finely selected group of emerging and established Australian artists. However, the Melbourne gallery also exhibits works by leading international modern artists.
