Flinders Lane Gallery opened in 1990 and exhibits a select group of contemporary Australian painters and sculptors. Both emerging and mid career artists are represented, focusing on the quality, vitality and diversity of Australian art. The works of distinguished Aboriginal artists are also shown, reflecting the uniqueness and power of this major force in Australian contemporary art. Through exhibitions of consistently high standard, Flinders Lane Gallery has established itself as one of Melbourne’s leading commercial galleries. Our stock room contains over 500 artworks. Most of the artists represented by Flinders Lane Gallery have representation in major private and public collections in Australia and overseas, including national, state and regional galleries.

Also on the calendar every March, is the Blue Chip Collectors’ Exhibition, which presents the works of, acknowledged masters such as Fairweather, Beckett, Tuckson, Brack and Perceval. The Veronica George Gallery is located in Melbourne, Australia. The site was constructed to serve as a showcase of the gallery’s current art glass stock, hand made jewellery and forthcoming exhibitions. The gallery was opened in September 2001, and is located in the heart of Melbourne’s arts and antiques precinct, at 1082 High Street Armadale. The Veronica George Gallery has a wonderful collection of art glass and jewellery by well known Australian Artists. There is range of one-of-a-kind Art Glass to Studio Glass and Collectables. Christine Abrahams Gallery building, once a clothing factory, was converted to its present form by architect Daryl Jackson in 1980. The building consists of four main spaces - a large central exhibition area, a smaller side Gallery for more intimate exhibitions, a works on paper and ceramics room, and a large stockroom with a rack storage system where works can be viewed at one’s leisure. The stockroom is open to all visitors to the Gallery. Christine Abrahams Gallery exhibits works of quality and innovation by contemporary artists. The Gallery’s policy is to show a broad spectrum of the visual arts including painting, drawing, sculpture, prints, jewellery, textiles, photography and ceramics. The Gallery primarily represents a core of prominent and emerging Australian artists whose work is regularly exhibited.
