The George

The Palace George Cinemas play a critical role in local film culture. Its innovative programming policy has seen it play host to Melbourne’s annual premiere short film event - The St Kilda Film Festival, the AFI Awards, and an eclectic mix of key art films as well as a dash of quality mainstream cinema. Event highlights have included the annual Alliance Francaise French Film Festival, The Spanish and the Melbourne Underground film festivals. The George’s three cinemas are fully licensed.
